Providing access for all students to have an equal starting point in life, through college and career readiness.
It is challenging to showcase to students their world of possibilities during a single career day per year or visiting one week of college fairs. So College Match Pros has changed the narrative. Students are engaged in weekly 20-30 minute lessons that have shown to improve elementary, middle and high school students’ knowledge of college and careers by nearly 200%, while simultaneously strengthening literacy skills.
Students are exposed to over 40 career opportunities yearly, two and four year colleges, technical schools, HBCUs, Ivy League schools, Armed Forces and entrepreneurship opportunities.
Middle school students are at a pivotal point in their educational journey in regards to how they see their future. Cognitive development with middle school students often leads to “Why”, are we learning what we’re learning and how does it translate into real life experiences?
The College and Career Already program for middle school students answers the “Why” for students while promoting literacy through exciting interactive activities and exploration. Weekly, students are building their own college and career readiness digital notebooks. Students deeply understand career paths while setting individual goals, culminating with their own individualized graduation plan.
All activities in the College and Career Already program are digital activities that build a wealth of knowledge for students. Students organically learn how their individual gifts and talents along with content strengths align with different careers and industries.
Lessons are student centered, grade and age appropriate with virtual tours and engaging interactive digital lessons that support individual and cooperative learning.
I can't lie, thanks to this program, I pay more attention in history class because I want to be a lawyer and never knew history class would help me become one.
I used to want to be a policeman because that’s all I really knew, now I want to be a publicist, and talk for famous people or companies.
Every elementary and middle school in the country needs this college and career readiness program, especially if your students aren't privy to dinner table conversations about colleges and careers.
